Research Interests

Molly’s research focuses on the cryopreservation of bioinks for use in 3D bioprinted tissue cultures. Her work explores cryoprotectant agents and cryopreservation protocols to preserve the biological and physicochemical properties of bioinks post-thaw, enabling off-the-shelf, reproducible 3D bioprinting.

She has a background in cell biology, biomaterials, and tissue engineering. During her undergraduate studies at UCL, she undertook laboratory projects investigating the functionalisation of biological materials and their subsequent physical and biological characterisation.
