Research Interests

I am dedicated to addressing challenging questions in cryobiology and affiliated areas of low-temperature science including biotechnology and biomedicine. I have made significant contributions to the advancement of 2-3D cryopreservation and the study of the cryopreservation pathway, including identifying key motifs for ice nucleating proteins. I am part of multiple international teams, have received multiple fellowships and published various methods of cell and tissue cryopreservation in collaboration with academic and industry partners (Cryologyx Ltd). My research is interdisciplinary and involves collaboration for innovation in basic and translational aspects with industrial and academy.
